Research fellow / PhD student (m/f)
(50%/65%, 2-year contract)

 

We are looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented colleague with a passion for psychometric research (modern/classical test theory) to join our Health Outcomes Research team in Berlin.

 

The Department of Psychosomatic Medicine at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin specializes in internal medicine in conjunction with psychosomatic medicine. We currently have about 90 staff working in interdisciplinary teams across three Charité campuses. In addition to our clinical work, we are extremely active and very successful in research. Among others, we focus on health outcomes research, stress research, and psycho-neuro-immunology research.

 

What are we looking for and what to expect?

 

Your tasks:

·         Management of one or more of our current projects, particularly in the area of Item Response Theory / Computerized Adaptive Testing

·         Writing of own peer-review publications for further academic qualification (PhD, Dr. rer. medic.)

·         Support with grant applications and administrative tasks

·         You will also be given the opportunity to attend (inter-)national conferences

 

Your background:

·         A degree in psychology, social sciences, statistics or a related field, preferably with additional training in psychometric theory, biostatistics, public health

·         Solid knowledge of psychometric theory / quantitative research methods

·         First experience with writing publications in English

·         Excellent time and project management skills

Remuneration

·         You will be paid following the salary scheme of TV-Charité.
